Chamber Choir Ensemble 96 is located in Oslo, belongs to the elite of Norwegian vocal ensembles and has distinguished himself with concerts, premieres and CD releases.
The choir has newer music as a priority, ensemble receives support from the Norwegian Cultural Council and was also awarded funds from the pilot project for the professionalization of the choir in 2009 and 2010.
The choir released Fall 2010 CD KIND, which has received critical acclaim. Both KIND and Ensemble 96s previous CD, Immortal Nystedt (2L), was nominated for two Grammy Awards, Best Surround Sound Album and Best Choral Performance.
In September 2007, the Ensemble 96 with its first conductor Øystein Fevang Korprisen 2007. Ensemble 96 and the then director Kjetil Common Lands were present representation chimney at the Nordic-Baltic choir festival in August 2008. From fall 2010 to spring 2011 it was Anine Kruse Skatrud who conducted the choir, and in autumn 2011 was appointed Nina T. Karlsen position of Ensemble conductor 96s.
