The Boston Sings [BOSS] team is looking for Photographer volunteers to capture photos over the duration of the weekend festival, taking place April 19–21 in Somerville, MA. BOSS is put on by the 501(c)(3) nonprofit Contemporary A Cappella Society (CASA).
Responsibilities include:
- Review photo requirements with BOSS Executive Producer ahead of festival weekend
- Commit to taking photos at specific shifts of the weekend
- Friday evening: Scholastic Competition
- Saturday daytime: Workshops & Masterclasses
- Saturday evening: Pro Concert
- Sunday daytime: Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards (CARA) Ceremony
- Shoot a variety of horizontal and vertical content during the festival as committed, following photo requirements
- Upload & organize usable shots to a shared drive within one week after festival is complete
Photographers are expected to provide their own equipment, transportation, room and board, etc.

Responsibilities include:
- Review video requirements with BOSS Executive Producer ahead of festival weekend
- Commit to shooting video at specific shifts of the weekend
- Friday evening: Scholastic Competition
- Saturday daytime: Workshops & Masterclasses
- Saturday evening: Pro Concert
- Shoot a variety of content during the festival as committed, following photo requirements
- One camera set-up to capture static run of show Friday & Saturday evenings
- Additional videos shot dynamically over the weekend
- Upload & organize footage to a shared drive within one week after festival is complete

The Boston Sings [BOSS] team is looking for a Food & Sponsorship Coordinator to source meals and monetary donations from local sponsors for the festival, taking place April 19–21 in Somerville, MA. BOSS is put on by the 501(c)(3) nonprofit Contemporary A Cappella Society (CASA).
Responsibilities include:
- Work with Executive Producer to define talent & staff meal requirements including amount of food needed and dietary restrictions to support
- Contact local food vendors about donating full or partial meals for the festival weekend
- Friday evening: dinner
- Saturday daytime: breakfast, lunch
- Saturday evening: dinner
- Contact local grocers about donating gift cards or vouchers to supplement meal requirements
- Explore possible fundraising opportunities & events to support festival needs
- Collect logos, address, and social handles (if any) from all sponsors to share with Web/Graphics Coordinator for website & social promotion
- Plan donation pick-up before and during the festival, working with Volunteer Coordinator to ensure festival meal slots are appropriately staffed for pick-up and drop-off in time for festival meals
- Follow through on food donation pick-ups and set up up in time for staff meals
Volunteer is expected to provide their own transportation, room and board, etc. This role is ideal for a candidate local to the Somerville or surrounding area.

The Boston Sings [BOSS] team is looking for an Education Assistant to help plan and schedule workshops and masterclasses for the festival, taking place April 19–21 in Somerville, MA. BOSS is put on by the 501(c)(3) nonprofit Contemporary A Cappella Society (CASA).
Responsibilities include:
- Work with Education Director to define masterclass requirements and acabomb expectations
- Plan masterclass schedules, pairing interested groups with instructors, and communicate to all involved parties
- Plan acabomb schedules and communicate to all involved parties
- Assist in planning and communication for workshop schedules
- Set up feedback forms via Sched to capture attendee class/instructor feedback
- Be available Saturday, April 20, to guide instructors and attendees to the right locations for their classes/masterclasses
Volunteer is expected to provide their own transportation, room and board, etc.
