A non-denominational co-ed Christian a cappella group, Against the Current aspires to serve God on the campus of Boston College in conjunction with the campus fellowships, churches, and other organizations. Against the Current is one of six a cappella groups at Boston College. It all started as an idea by Jihoon Shin (4, 1236537792, 1, '99), Ali Graham (4, 1236537792, 1, '99), and Ruth Johnson (4, 1236537792, 1, '00) who wanted to form a group for the purpose of bringing the Gospel to the Boston College community through a cappella music.

Awaken the Dawn {ATD} is Wellesley's only Christian a cappella group. In 1991, a group of four women aspired to bring the good news of Jesus Christ to the campus of Wellesley through word and song. Since then, the Lord has blessed this vision by expanding our audience to include not only college students, but also the homeless, senior citizens, and families everywhere. We are currently a group of eleven women who share the desire to glorify God with our voices.
