Midnight Ramblers Establish A Cappella Scholarship

Beginning in fall 2009, one fortunate freshman attending the University of Rochester's College of Arts, Sciences, and Engineering will receive some extra financial aid – not from loan companies or the federal government, but from fellow students. The Midnight Ramblers Scholarship is the first permanent scholarship funded through a student-alumni partnership at the University. The Midnight Ramblers, a premier a cappella group on the campus, created the $5,000 award for an incoming freshman who demonstrates an appreciation and passion for music innovation.

Tufts Beelzebubs cover included on album by The Feeling

The Tufts Beelzebubs has its cover of The Feeling's "Love It When You Call" featured on a rerelease by the original artist. The Beelzebubs' version of "Love It When You Call," from its album, Pandaemonium, is perhaps the first a cappella cover to be featured on the original artist's album. The song is the last track of the "deluxe edition" of the Feeling's second album, "Join With Us." "Join With Us" (the regular, 1-CD version) was released in February 2008 in the UK only and entered the British Album charts at #1.
