SoJam 2009: a few favorite moments

Too many amazing things to mention them all, but certainly some favorite moments from my end, experiences from SoJam 2009: -Masterclass (3 hours!) with Treble from NYC.  Musical, talented, smart, funny ladies who flat out make great music.  They were a joy to work with.

SoJam!

Writing this from my hotel room, 3:25 am in Durham, NC.  Finished up an a-MAY-zing day of SoJam: great classes (is it just me or do the college kids just get smarter every year?).  Superb concert: Emory U. singers (winners of last night's competition) opened, Eclipse was fantasmic (never thought I'd enjoy white dudes rapping so much), Matt Murphy and Lilli Lewis were enchanting with their team-live-looping, and the House Jacks ripped my soul out through my ears.  They were just RAWK. This event is RAWK.
