Submission season is upon us again!
We are now accepting submissions for Sing 8, the eighth installment in the critically-acclaimed Sing series.
Eligibility
Your album/track is eligible to be included on the Sing Compilation if:
1. It was released or completed after January 1, 2010. While the CARAs have strict rules about music being released to the public, there is no such rule with Sing. We are happy to consider tracks and albums that have never been available through other means. In fact, we have offered numerous incredibly world exclusives and we are happy to continue to do so.
2. It is received at the CASA office no later than September 23, 2011. Unfortunately, a postmark of September 23 is not acceptable. We would also like to note that the earlier you send your album the more time we will have to listen.
3. A submission application form has been filled out on www.carawards.org and submitted by September 23.
Submission Instructions
1. Fill out the submission application form at www.carawards.org . If you have questions or would like to follow up on receipt of the form, send an email to sing@casa.org.
2. If you are submitting a standard format album: Mail us three (3) production copies of the album in final retail packaging with liner notes. Consider sending more than the 3 required albums for inclusion in CASA’s charitable Tunes for Teens program. Please note: if you send in a form and albums for Sing, you do not need to resubmit either for the CARAs. See submission application form for more information.

3. If you are submitting an album or individual tracks that were exclusively released online or have never been released: fill out the form online as usual and then email for an individualized submission solution.
Sing Timeline
September 23 | Submission application form is due. The submission application form on www.carawards.org must be filled out by this date in order to be considered eligible. You may fill out the form at any time before or after submitting your album. |
September 23 | All album submissions must be received by the Sing Producers. To be eligible for Sing, all submission instructions must be completed and albums must be received by this time. Unfortunately, a postmark is not acceptable. Please see submission guidelines for more information. |
November 1 | Track list is announced on www.casa.org. |
November 11-13 | Extremely limited edition physical Sing albums will be available for sale at SoJam in Durham, NC. Only those at SoJam will have a chance to purchase physical albums! |
November 15 | Sing will be available to download for free for all CASA members and can be purchased on iTunes or A Cappella Records by non-members. A membership is only $35 and well worth the price for this benefit alone! |

Posted by Sharp11Girl on 09/22/2010Hi! I submitted my group's album for the CARAS a couple years ago when it was released (January 31st, 2008) and I mailed you three copies of our CD at that time. Should I mail them again to be considered for Sing 7?
