CASA is excited to announce that we're sponsoring a workshop with reknowned Finnish group Rajaton at George Washington University on Saturday May 31. This limited enrollment, 2-hour workshop - a partnership with the GWU Department of Music - will allow singers to learn from some of the best musicians in the world in an intimate, collaborative setting. Formed 17 years ago, Rajaton has garnered one double platinum, three platinum and eight gold records in Finland to date, and their worldwide record sales have surpassed 400.000 copies.

Christopher Diaz, (Mouth Off, The Exchange, The Sing-Off...) states simply, "Finnish group Rajaton is the best group in the world."

For CASA and CAL members, as well as GW staff and faculty, the workshop cost is $40, a $20 savings over the general admission price. This is one of many perks and special events that come with a yearly CASA membership. We're constantly seeking to provide new and valuable resources and experiences for singers and fans alike.

Danny Ozment, CASA's Director of Outreach, adds, "Rajaton means 'boundless' which I think is the essence of why someone would want to come work with them. They do everything well and it seems effortless. They sing well, arrange well, are an incredible ensemble/group, they have members who compose for Oxford University Press, etc.."
