The defining element of this live mashup performance we call "doowOpera" is that both The GrooveBarbers and Inna Dukach stayed true to their respective fields of expertise: Inna sang this beloved aria in her normal, opulent operatic way (as she does with New York City Opera at Lincoln Center), and The GrooveBarbers did our old school doowop thing (as we do in my kitchen and on TV commercials for Astelin Nasal Spray). Thus the two styles occur simultaneously, and neither was forced to yield to the other. If only the religions and ethnicities of the world could coexist this blissfully.

Please watch and enjoy, and spread the viral love by sending friends to www.doowOpera.com. And while you're there, please rate us five stars and comment glowingly.

Next week: The GrooveBarbers combine street-corner harmony with histrionic daytime talk television: "DooOprah".
