HomeSingers Sought For Off-Broadway A Cappella Musical

Amy Malkoff's picture

Passing along the info about this very exciting project...

We're working on a very exciting new Off-Broadway musical right now for Primary Stages called "In Transit." The musical will be all a cappella--every note made in it will be produced by a human voice. We're seeking some very strong a capella singers/actors for the production.

We're looking for one person in every vocal range (mezzo, soprano, alto, tenor, baritone, bass) as well as a good beat boxer/vocal percussionist. A more detailed breakdown of the roles can be found at the end of this post. We are seeking a diverse multicultural cast, a true “melting pot” of NYC, so all ethnicities are encouraged to apply.

Anyone who's interested in submitting themselves should send us an email at assistant@klappercasting.com (no phone calls, please) with a picture and any audio they're able to provide of their voice. Please pass this along to anyone you think might be interested, and feel free to email me with any questions! Thank you!
