
Coming up on July 7th: the 2005 Singapore National A Cappella Championships! 13 groups will compete in 3 categories for wonderful prizes in a three-hour a cappella extravaganza. The event will be hosted by Juz B -- Admission is FREE so come on down! Competition starts at 6.30pm.
For groups in country, the Arts for Health program is looking for volunteer groups to sing for patients at Singapore General Hospital. Participating groups sing for about 45 minutes on the last Friday of each month from 7pm to 8pm. A cappella groups with members under 25 are invited to submit original music, compositions or sound design to www.noisesingapore.com, a media arts festival set for October 2005. Noise Singapore wants to put your creative works on TV, Radio, in Magazines and on the Internet see their website for details.
