To anyone who's wondering what they should be doing to prepare for auditioning on NBC's The Sing Off, here's a little instruction buried in this article:

Juicy point:
“I saw them perform the Disney medley and it’s hysterical," [NBC producer James] Ehlers said. "They stood out to me because not only are their vocals great, but they have fun and are entertaining to watch.”
As with all things YMMV.

It has come to my attention
Posted by Josiah Charley on 01/23/2011It has come to my attention that the music industry is a business in itself. It's not all about singing, but entertaining and making people feel like they're the one who taught you how to sing. If you leave them smiling after the performance, it means you've reached your target.
