The Contemporary A Cappella Society (CASA) is pleased to announce the addition of two members to its Board of Directors. As of the board's most recent meeting, Ross Morey and Chris Crawford of the newly-launched A Cappella Records (ACR) label will join the ranks of the CASA leadership.
Ross will serve as CASA's Volunteer Coordinator, reaching out to a cappella enthusiasts across the country (and around the world!) for aid with our projects, events, and general endeavors. He currently serves as ACR's Vice President of Communications, created the UCLA men's a cappella group Bruin Harmony, and is the founding Executive Director of the Los Angeles A Cappella festival (LA/AF).
Chris is the Founder and acting President of ACR and will participate with CASA as the Director of Marketing. He founded Acquire A Cappella at UC Santa Cruz and has worked in Apple Public Relations and iTunes Promotions. Needless to say, the business expertise of both of these gentlemen will be a welcome addition to the board, as it continues to grow and aid the a cappella community at large.
The Contemporary A cappella Society is always looking for motivated and talented individuals to join our ranks as members, volunteers, and program directors. If you have specific skills in an area where you believe CASA could benefit, do not hesitate to contact a program director or Matt Emery, the organization's Director of Public Relations.
