The New Hampshire Master Chorale, directed by Dr. Dan Perkins, is a non-profit organization founded in 2003. Dedicated to excellence in the art of choral music, the Chorale has established itself as one of New England’s premier chamber ensembles by offering a superior, professional level of repertoire and performance. Its members are trained singers, auditioned from throughout the state, who have performed as soloists and in choral ensembles worldwide. In its first four years the Chorale has brought an impressive variety of challenging and varied repertoire to audiences across New Hampshire. The group has also toured Vietnam and Peru. The Chorale’s endeavors include educational outreach, commissioning and premiering works by New Hampshire composers, concert recording, and collaborative projects with other excellent ensembles. Our repertoire has included works by Gwyneth Walker, Morten Lauridsen, Benjamin Britten, Dominick Argento, John Dowland, J.S. Bach, Eric Whitacre, Jaakko Mäntyjärvi, and Stephen Chatman, as well as folk songs and spirituals of various traditions.
