CASA - The Contemporary A Capella Society

Khorikos was founded by conductor/composer Jesse Peckham in December 2005 to promote an environment for an a cappella ensemble in which aesthetic quality would be paramount. Khorikos thrives on artistic independence and commercial autonomy. Accordingly, Khorikos enlists volunteer musicians who are professionally and passionately dedicated to cultivating distinctive interpretations of musical works ranging from medieval polyphony to contemporary sound sculpture. The group performed its debut concert in August 2006.
