The Acafellas continue to win local audiences. They are working on their second album that they hope to release early next year.

The San Miguel Master Chorale earned praises and standing ovations in the 7th World Choral Symposium in Kyoto, Japan. While they were touring Japan, they were proclaimed the best choral group of the year in Manila. The a cappella tracks of the album they released last year also got several nominations in the local recording industry awards.

The University of Asia and Pacific Chorale almost won all the prizes in a choral competition in Greece. They recently won the regional eliminations for a national choral competition to be held later this month.

MusiCaviteño just concluded a choral festival last month. They have just formed a grand choir of the diocese based in the cathedral and I have been engaged to be the group's music director for the first year. We will be having a mini-recital this month.

We are anticipating a cappella competitions all over the country again as Christmas-time approaches.
