Brown's Tones
Brown'sTones is the youngest female a cappella group at Brown University. We sing a variety of music, from Paul Simon to Kool and the Gang, The Lion King to Madonna, Suzanne Vega to Brandy.Brown'sTones is the youngest female a cappella group at Brown University; Melissa Lai '94 founded the group in 1992, and our membership, repertoire and skill level have been on the rise ever since. The group size has ranged from 10-18 women; we hold auditions in September and February. We sing a variety of music, from Paul Simon to Kool and the Gang, The Lion King to Madonna, Suzanne Vega to Brandy.
