CASA - The Contemporary A Capella Society

Capital Green is the premiere co-ed A Cappella group of Michigan State University, and in its 9th year of existence is still making great music and having a damn good time while doing it!

These kids can be found all around MSU. Along with performing in local concerts such as Accapalooza with other fellow Michigan State groups, Capital Green can be found running around campus in the fall months, entertaining tailgating students and alumni (and usually obtaining large amounts of food in the process...). During the offseason they have been known to show up to various MSU dorms, knocking on doors and meeting other students to entertain with short spontaneous concerts in the hallways. A love of performing as well as meeting great people has taken Capital Green all over the U.S throughout the years, where they have had the pleasure to meet and sing with countless other talented groups. Traveling to invitationals in New York, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Wisconsin name a few examples.

Capital green has had the honor of competing in ICCA for the past four years, and has hosted the event at Michigan State for the past two competitions. The level of talent that emerges from this event never ceases to amaze them, and the new friends made every year are a definite bonus!
