CASA - The Contemporary A Capella Society

Much More Chill is an all-male (non-official collegiate) a cappella group at SUNY Fredonia. The group was started in 2000 as an offshoot of other musical groups, and has flourished through 6 generations to it's current iteration, which is 17 brothers strong.

The success of MMC is not only due to their unique choice of music, ranging from Dave Matthews to Linkin Park, Creedence to Reel Big Fish, Guster to Gavin DeGraw, (and various hip-hop artists) but also to their impressive showmanship and stage presence. The "brothers" of Much More Chill are as exceptional with their sense of humor as they are with vocal prowess, and fans all over the Northeast are impressed by the way each individual member comes together to build such a tight group of musicians and friends.

Through 3 albums, 4 tours, and almost 40 brothers over time, this group has grown and surpassed all expectations, and continues to impress fans both young and old. Where other groups all too often repeat tired old songs, MMC is a breath of fresh air in the a cappella world, constantly striving to innovate with cross-genre variety. No, you'll find no "doo-wop" here, this is MUCH MORE CHILL.
