[ 2.19.09 update: This show has been canceled. It will be rescheduled for sometime in the fall. ]

The international vocal sensation, Rockapella, performs LIVE at the Berklee Performance Center (Boston, MA) on Saturday, February 21, 2009 at 8pm.  Tickets are $21, $26, $31 and can be purchased through TicketMaster.com or through the Berklee Box Office, in-person.

"Some say the best musical instrument of all is the human voice - if you've seen Rockapella you know that's the truth," says USA TODAY.  This five-man powerhouse of vocal talent sweeps through sold-out venues across the country year-round, with a special Holiday/Christmas tour added for good measure. With an ever-expanding fan base, they're known as the Kings of Contemporary A Cappella.  Individually, Rockapella is: Scott Leonard (high tenor), Kevin Wright (tenor), Jeff Thacher (vocal percussionist), George Baldi (bass) and John K. Brown (tenor).  The group was formed for the sheer love of performing; singing on New York City street corners with a hat out at their feet. They caught the eye of a producer putting together a television special titled "Spike & Co.: Do It A Cappella", hosted by filmmaker Spike Lee. This in turn led to a daily appearance on "Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego?", a wildly popular kid's game show on public television. Television & radio commercials and international recording contracts followed.  Rockapella has released 20 albums over the last 18 years, with their most recent titled, "Live in Japan."

On their current  American tour, the new Rockapella is performing a lot of new material, including Rockapella-flavored versions of favorites like "Rock the Boat" and "Papa Was a Rollin' Stone", as well  as new original songs like "Tonight" and "California Sad-Eyed Girl". And don't worry, Rockapella will never forget to ask the ever-burning question: "Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego?"
