a casual setting in rotation.  Stage, microphones, and interactive,
friendly audience is provided (good place to try out your new
material)!   All styles of music welcome, as long as it's a
cappella!

The
groups will have ample time to perform 3-5 songs, and it will be a casual
event, with food and plenty of time to socialize and mix. Admission will be
free, but we will gladly accept any donations to help cover the cost of hosting
the event.

Vocal Magic auditions

Seeking additional members, all parts.   This
established group of mixed voices, soprano, alto, tenor, & bass
currently has 5 members looking to expand to a maximum of 8
voices.  Performs mostly acappella, occasionally with jazz combo. Hosts
a monthly acappella evening of music, and performs for both community events
and private functions.Members must have prior experience singing acappella,
ability to memorize music, have a good ear for close harmony and rhythms, have
a pleasant personality, and good stage presence. Rehearsals are weekly in north
Orange County.

 COMPETE AT THE SAN DIEGO FAIR!

The
A Cappella contest at this year's San Diego County Fair will be conducted
Saturday, July 5th. Two group size categories will compete for cash prizes and
regional recognition: groups of 3-10 and groups of 11-25

The Colgate Thirteen the
nation's third-oldest ensemble, Thirteen well-dressed undergraduate gentlemen
from Colgate University in Hamilton, New York have delighted millions since
1942. Boasting a repertoire of over one hundred musical favorites, The
Thirteen's unique blend of humor and harmony brings excitement and joy to all
who join in the rich tradition of our group. We travel more than 13,000 miles
across the nation annually, and have performed for past presidents, royalty,
and dignitaries alike, sung on The Tonight Show, at the US Open, and performed
the National Anthem at Super Bowl XIII and The Fiesta Bowl. For more

They will be in California in early January. If hired, the Colgate 13 will
provide a private concert along with a question-and-answer session about
collegiate A Capella. Also, if requested we can work personally with advanced
