Vozes da Rádio

The best Portuguese a cappella group "Vozes da Rádio" (Radio Voices) is celebrating in 2008 it's 17th anniversary. During this first 17 years this group has recorded 7 albums and participated in more than 10 records of other artists and compilations. Their harmonies joined the fado of Mafalda Arnauth, the world sound of Ivan Lins (Brazil), Uxia (Spain) or Sara Tavares (Cabo Verde) and the jazz of Maria João. They already recorded with artists like Rui Veloso,Ala dos Namorados, Gaiteiros de Lisboa, the Cabo-Verde voice Dany Silva or the brazilian Arnaldo Antunes. "Vozes da Rádio" participated in the Expo '98's tribute to Amália Rodrigues and recorded in 2001 a version of one of her songs to World Connection records. The group already made more than 400 concerts in Portugal, Azores, Madeira, Spain and Macau. The show is very variated, with lots humour and with a commitment with musical and performing quality guaranteed, something that has already "Vozes da Rádio" audiences have been used to for the past 17 years.
