ShireiNU

ShireiNU A Cappella is Northwestern University's premier Jewish a cappella group. We were founded in 2009 and we've been singing around Northwestern's campus, Evanston, and the Chicagoland community ever since. ShireiNU is a co-ed musical ensemble with a repertoire of hebrew and english songs (both pop and traditional). The Hebrew word "shireinu" means "our songs," but with creative capitalization, ShireiNU means "songs of NU." We consist of Jewish and non-Jewish members alike, and we love sharing music and Jewish culture with each other and our community.
