Saxatones

The Georgetown University Saxatones are the newest co-ed A-Cappella group on the Georgetown campus, created for the purpose of serving the surrounding community through service, music, and an occasional game of shuffleboard. Originally formed in the autumn of 2000 the group soon broke up due to "creative differences," launching former members Neil Diamond and Ashlee Simpson on their own respective world tours. Luckily, the Saxatones were officially reestablished in 2003 and are now kickin' it full-swing with their predominantly oldies repertoire, sticking in a few new-fangled songs just to shake things up, and were judged by Simon Cowell to be "at least better than watching [his] paint dry."
