Sacramento, CA

Founded in 2000 by Artistic Director Julie Adams, RSVP nurtures the community spiritually with its highly-praised, dynamic concerts - and physically with concrete, financial contributions that go on making a difference long after the applause has faded. All members of RSVP donate their time so that all proceeds from concerts can go to local organizations in need. RSVP has enjoyed collaborating with choirs, storytellers, authors and other musicians to present concerts with fresh ideas and imaginative programs. RSVP continually seeks ways to uplift its audiences and to support the communities it serves. To this end RSVP donates all concert proceeds to local charitable organizations. RSVP's clear purpose is bringing people together through the arts and giving back to the community. This season RSVP will travel to Louisiana as Friendship Ambassadors to present concerts to the communities ravaged by the hurricane season of 2005. The concert tour, entitled "Louisiana Reclamation through the Arts," is presented by the United Nation's Friendship Ambassadors Foundation. Because of this tremendous opportunity, RSVP will focus its entire season around concerts that support the gulf region of the United States.
