About Quinta and a Half:

Quinta and a Half is an Israeli vocal ensemble of 6 young singers, singing a capella music, entirely instrument-free. The ensemble was founded on 2006 by its musical manager and producer Doron Ben-Ami, who also writes most of the group's arrangements. All group members graduated from the music department in "Katzanelson" high school in Kfar Saba.

The group has performed in many festivals and different events all over the country: "Al Hamezada" in Arad Festival on 2006, "Israeli Music Holiday" in Jerusalem on 2007, "Abu-Gosh" festival on 2008, several ceremonies of the "ACUM" organization (the Israeli music official copyright organization), several concerts in the Felicia Blumenthal music center, and also on different Television shows like "Israeli Idol", shows on the Israeli music channel (channel 24), a few morning shows on channel 22 (official Israeli commercial channel), national broadcasted Israeli ceremonies etc.

On 2011 the group has released its very first video clip on YouTube, which later reached a large number of views online. On March 2012, the group won the very prestigious "Buchman-Heiman" scholarship for young musicians.

"Quinta and a Half" brings their own unique style to a capella music. Singing in a large variety of music styles – this group manages to stay innovative and contemporary while singing both classic Israeli tunes as well as all-times world poplar hits, all of this – using only their human voices.
