The Princeton Footnotes

Founded by a group of fun-loving, charismatic, and talented young men in 1959, the Princeton Footnotes have been providing fresh, all-male a cappella to Princeton University and far beyond for more than half a century. We are an incredibly versatile group of guys who bring a radiant enthusiasm to our singing. Having performed all over the world for the past 55 years, our repertoire spans decades of music and an astounding variety of genres: from Cole Porter to Bruno Mars to the Eagles.

We have performed for U.S. presidents and fashion designers, at schools and corporate events, in backyards, at baseball stadiums, and for millions during our time on NBC’s ‘The Sing Off.’ In addition to performing at both high profile and casual events, we host educational sessions during which we give a cappella lessons to singers of all ages and experience.

Putting on an unforgettable show is the Footnotes’ greatest love; our culture, passion, and diversity are what distinguish us as an incredible group.
