A Cappella Nuance began at the University of Akron School of Music in the spring semester of 2004. It was composed of six music majors who wanted to do something different. The group had its premier performance alongside the University of Akron Concert and Chamber Choirs at the spring choral concert on April 16th, 2004. Since then, A Cappella Nuance has been a favorite attraction at the University of Akron campus, the Akron area, and recently Europe! A Cappella Nuance made it's international debut in Gorizia, Italy on July 9th, 2006 at the "45th Concorso Internazionale di Canto Chorale Seghizzi." A Cappella Nuance placed 1st in the Pop/Jazz Category and thrilled hundreds of fans from 18 different countries. We perform a wide range of repertoire, ranging from pop classics and rock to jazz standards and classical.
