Mid Life Crisis

Whether we're lost in the 50's or keeping the music alive, depends on your perception. Naturally, we choose to think that we're keeping the music alive!

While formed in 1992, Mid Life Crisis features members with long histories of singing doo wop on the street corners of Philly in the 1960s. The group sings acapella (sans music) and vocals with music track accompaniment while keeping to the tradition of street corner harmony of the 50's and 60s inner city singing groups. The group features 4 guys and a gal. All 5 members share leads and various harmony parts in doo wop songs like "Since I Don't Have You", "Speedo", "Little Darlin"; some R'nB like "My Girl" and "Reach Out I'll Be There"; and even some classic rock like the Bee Gees "To Love Somebody" and Van Morrison's "Brown Eyed Girl".
