JukeVox

JukeVox is a contemporary A capella group from Greece Olympia High School in Rochester, NY. JukeVox is an extra curricular group that holds auditions at the beginning of every school year. Auditions are open to members of the select choir, symphonic band, and orchestra, so naturally, the group is made up of all excellent musicians. JukeVox recently released their third cd, "As Seen On T.V." The reason for this title is because they have been featured on Channel 8 WROC's Sounds of the Season, anually at Christmas time for the past several years. JukeVox has performed a numerous events and festivals and brought home a Superior rating from this year's Classic Festival in Toronto. The group has also been featured on WBEE 92.5, WARM 101.3 and 90.1 WGMC. The group has performed with college acapella groups such as the University of Rochester Yellow Jackets, Suny Fredonia's Much More Chill, and Nazareth College's Call4BackUp. The group is directed by Karl-Erik Jansson who received his degrees from Eastman School of Music and Nazareth College.
