Harambee is an 18-voice youth choir based in Canterbury, Melbourne, whose name means in the spirit of togetherness in Swahili.

The choir was formed in 2002 by a group of friends studying music teaching together at the University of Melbourne, but has since grown in numbers each year.

Harambee prepares two major concerts each year, and also enjoys performing in festivals and eisteddfods. For three years running, 2004 - 2006, Harambee was awarded 1st place in the Boroondara Eisteddfod A Cappella Choral section. They have also performed for sell-out audiences in their concerts at the Kingston Arts Centre for the past three years.

Harambees repertoire is mainly a cappella, and includes vocal jazz, African music, Australian music and pop arrangements.
