Euphonik A Cappella

{YU-FON-IK} In Greek, Eu translates to 'pleasing' while Phonos translates to 'voices.' Together we get Euphonik or 'pleasing voices.' This a cappella group is compirsed of members from the chapters of Sigma Alpha Iota, Phi Mu Alpha, Tau Beta Sigma, Kappa Kappa Psi and Delta Omicron at Miami University in Oxford, OH.

Euphonik A Cappella is comprised solely of members of the five Greek music organizations on the campus of Miami University. The idea came about because, as musicians, we have a strong passion for creating music and a deep appreciation for all forms of music. Many of us come from an instrumental background and yearned for a medium in which we could explore our talents vocally and thus Euphonik A Cappella was born.

Their first single, "Don't You Worry Child" was tracked, edited and mixed by Matt Caruso of ACappellaPsych with mastering by Dave Sperandio of Vocal Mastering. The arrangement was written by Nicholas Wright, also of ACappellaPsych. With the release of "Don't You Worry Child", Euphonik A Cappella hopes to increase their national recognition as well as promte collegiate a cappella nationwide. From working with Miami University TV to performing at Greek events, Euphonik A Cappella is excited to continue working hard to promote Miami University and the collegiate a cappella world.
