DT was founded as a co-ed jazz a cappella group at the College in 1993. Since then, we have considerably expanded our repertoire to include a wide variety of styles, ranging from the golden oldies to today's most popular hits. We are a group of extremely talented (and fun!) individuals who have come together out a shared love and passion for making great music.

We like to believe that making music forms a special kind of bond that few other activities can. Despite our differences in personality, DT is a closely knit group, and we try to make time to see each other together outside of rehearsal whenever possible. Whether it's our semesterly retreats or weekly Wednesday late-night hangouts, we always seem to have quite our full share of fun.

DoubleTake performs many times each semester, from various and sundry serenades to medium-sized gigs to full-blown concerts where we perform our full repertoire. We also participate in the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella on a regular basis. We have placed highly many times - even moving on to national finals in some years - and have received several special awards. But at the end of the day, the greatest reward for DoubleTake is the support of our loyal fans, for whom we constantly strive to deliver the most entertaining blend of a cappella and showmanship that we can.
