For over fifteen years, The Chordials, a co-ed group from Cornell University, have pushed the boundaries of collegiate a cappella. They have transformed the genre in every aspect of production - from their complex arrangements, to their award winning albums, to their impeccable artistry, the Chordials have established a legacy that sets them apart as quality musicians.

The Chordials have received an abundance of critical acclaim; both their live performances as well as their recorded works have been referred to as “precise, current, and professional” (Mouth Off A Cappella podcast). Pulse, the group’s last album, was nominated for best song, best soloist, and best album in the nation in the Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards. The album was also featured on the 2011 Voices Only compilation and Sing 8: Cubed, an international a cappella compilation. Their live performances can be viewed on YouTube and all recorded albums are available for download on iTunes.

2013 was an exciting year for The Chordials - the group returned to the competition scene after a 9 year hiatus and placed 3rd at the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella. On top of that, the group released their 8th studio album, The Shadow Aspect. Though The Chordials continue to push forward and reach new heights, they strive to maintain the edgy, soulful sound that has defined the group since 1997.
