The Bostonians of Boston College

Who We Are:
Meet the Bostonians of Boston College! We are BC’s original and premier co-ed a cappella group.  The Bostonians take pride in our longevity, musicality, and constant mentality for a having a good time. Whether in live performances or one of our twelve professionally recorded albums, the Bostonians have been using our voices as instruments to create pop, rock, and R&B music since 1986.  We sing many current songs and are currently recording another fantastic album, which should be completed very soon and sold on iTunes!  We are the Bostonians of Boston College and "We Don't Suck!"

What We Do:
We sing, laugh, love and generally have an awesome time.  The combination of a supportive fan base and our own passion for singing has resulted in an international acclaim and a lifetime of fun.  We have been selected out of many other groups for various honors.  Our albums "Flipping Out" and "Brandy Station" were nominated for Best Mixed Collegiate Albums.  Our version of "Ordinary People" by John Legend, sung by Alvic Plan '11, was also nominated for Best Soloist.  The Bostonians have made appearances on the Best of College A Cappella (BOCA) CD in 2001, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2011, and 2012!  In addition to these amazing recognitions, we continue to step out of the norm to become extraordinary.  We arrange all of our own pieces and have recently several mashups, like our "Dance Mashups" of 2011 and 2012, featuring several different songs and soloists all in one neat package.  Overall the Bostonians of Boston College record, perform and go on tour every year!  When we're not singing or working on our school work we all hang out as friends.  This group gives all its members a place to show off what we can do and make lifelong friends.

Where We’ve Been:
In the past 25 years, the Bostonians have toured the continent: California, Montreal, Virginia, Washington DC, New York City, Boston, New Hampshire, Disneyland, Michigan, Notre Dame, New Jersey, Connecticut, Cape Cod, the Hamptons... basically we've left our musical stamp all over America.  The Bostonians have performed on national television on “The Price is Right” and MTV’s “The Real World”, as well as at several Boston Bruins games, a Timberwolves game, and for our very own BC Eagles.  We have also partaken in competitions such as A Cappella Armageddon and placed very highly in Boston.
