The name Ac·Rock stands for a cappella rock 'n roll. Since 1993, this colorful all-male quartet has been exciting audiences with its energetic, interactive performances. Based in Chicago, Ac•Rock has sung for the Cubs, the White Sox and the Bulls.  They’ve opened for comedians Martin Short, Wayne Brady, the late Bernie Mac, and Senator Al Franken.  Ac•Rock has six CDs, a website, an iPhone app and a worldwide following.  They have sung all over the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii.  They have even sung in Canada.

Ac•Rock is guerilla a cappella:  breaking through the fourth wall to get up-close and personal.  It’s interactive a cappella rock ‘n roll improv theater.  It’s live.  It’s happening.  No tricks, no tracks.  This is real singing coming from four guys who perform every note you hear.  Yes, it’s Ac•Rock, constantly changing and evolving to create a freshness and spontaneity that make each of their live shows uniquely one-of-a-kind.   Performing everyone’s favorite rock hits, Ac•Rock sings both the doo-wop standards audiences expect and later rock classics that you might not expect to be performed a cappella.  It’s an engaging mix of tightly-crafted music and freewheeling humor that pleases audiences of all ages.

Ac•Rock is Paul Iams (tenor), David Wilner (tenor), Chris Brown (baritone) and Mark MacLean (bass).

Ac•Rock CDs: Ridin’ The Storm Out, Flying Colors, Out Of The Box, Guaranteed To Satisfy, Acappellago, and UR What UR.  Our website:  www.acrock.com.  Download the free Ac•Rock iPhone app at iTunes.
