We are an established Denver- based mixed group looking for a female singer with lots of experience singing in small groups. Must be able to sing a strong lead when needed. We sing a variety of music to include: original arrangements, folk, rock, world music, contemporary, do-wop, etc. We will be heading into the studio to record a CD early Fall. We need a woman who blends with ease and has excellent pitch. We work hard and are a fun group to sing with. Have gigs coming up.
NOTE: I AM PACIFIC TIME, NOT "NEW YORK" AS THE POST IS LABELED...not sure how to fix that.
The first meeting of a new CASA League group with the working title of "Sono" is tonight. I will go over goals, meet interested people in-person (instead of virtually) and take Q&A, and then see what happens. (Kind of like cooking with random ingredients and only a vague idea of what I'm doing).
Celebrate with the locals on a unique cultural journey on the isaland of Upolu, Western Samoa, with Australasian a cappella guru Tony Backhouse, music master Tapu Legalo and the Saleapaga village, 9-18th July 2009.
