HomeVote for your favorite 'Sing-Off' group before Nov. 28 finale

I’ve sung the praises of “The Sing-Off” since the a cappella competition’s opening notes on NBC in December 2009. Now approaching the finale of its third and longest season, “The Sing-Off” is better than ever.

In Monday night’s show, judges Ben Folds, Shawn Stockman and Sara Bareilles determined the three groups who viewers could vote for until the live finale on the Nov. 28 show. Sixteen groups started the competition back in September.

Now only Pentatonix, Urban Method and Dartmouth Aires remain. Jazzy favorite Afro-Blue was eliminated after an evening of incredible mash-up medleys and “sudden death” match-up performances by Afro-Blue and Dartmouth Aires because the judges couldn’t decide between them.

A mash-up, if you’re not familiar with the term, is the blending of two songs. The television show “Glee” often does this with amazing results, such as the mash-up in last week’s show of “Rumour Has It” and “Someone Like You.”
