Interested in contributing your time, talents, & energy to the a cappella community?

You've come to the right place!

Every day across the planet, good people give their time to create and grow CASA programs that foster and promote a cappella music everywhere.  Our collective goal is to spread "harmony through harmony."  Many people don't realize that this community is built on the backs of charitable volunteers.  Why do we do it?  Because we love this music, and we love this community.  We'd be delighted to have you join us in the effort!

Interested working actively to build the a cappella community in your area?  CASA has a team of community ambassadors that do just that.  Visit our Ambassadors Page for more details.

Want to organize an a cappella festival in your area?  SoJam founder Dave Sperandio serves as CASA's Festivals Director, and he can teach you how.  Contact Dave to start a dialogue.

Do you have web or other programming experience?  Our whole website is a creation of volunteers.  We can always use a hand building new applications, cleaning up code, creating databases, and writing scripts.  Contact Joe Antonioli for more details.

Got visual design skills?  We always need help designing logos, flyers, posters, booklets, T-shirts, and website graphics.  Contact our Director of Communications, Matt Emery, to lend a hand.

Where else can we use a hand?  Honestly, wherever!  We're interested in having you give whatever you have to share.  Here are some other examples of what CASA volunteers do:

  • Review albums and shows for casa.org
  • Write articles or instructional booklets on any a cappella topic (managing a group, vocal health, recording techniques, you name it)
  • Encourage high school choir directors to bring free a cappella CDs to their students as part of our Tunes To Teens program
  • Write grant proposals for CASA's more charity-focused programs
  • Enter/update information for our master a cappella group directory
  • Take tickets or sell merch at one of our renowned a cappella festivals
  • Find interesting facts for the trivia area on casa.org
  • Serve as a judge for the CARA awards or a live competition in your area
  • Contact a cappella groups to solicit donations of original a cappella songs for CASA members and the A Cappella Originals Podcast
  • Write press releases and other PR materials for CASA programs

And the list goes on!  As you can see, there is much to be done, and we need all the help we can get.  No matter what your level of skill or experience, we've got a place for you.  Join us!

If you're interested in anything above, or if you've got something else in mind, or if you just want to chat about volunteeering, write to us at .  We look forward to hearing from you!
