COLLEGIATE GROUPS ON TOUR
The Yale Spizzwinks, America's oldest underclassman a cappella group,
will be touring southern California this March! We will be in both the
L.A. and San Diego areas between March 4th and March 18th. If you are
interested in having the Spizzwinks come and perform, please don't
hesitate to contact David Resnick, tour manager for the group. For more
information, check out their website, www.spizzwinks.com, or contact
them at david.resnick@yale.edu.
Out of the Blue, Oxford University's all-male a cappella sensation, is very
excited to be touring the West coast of America in March 2006. We sing
everything from 1920s barbershop tunes to spirituals, jazz, rock and modern
pop. Our music melds traditional vocal techniques and modern styling -
without any instruments - to produce an unrivalled entertainment
experience. We do it all, and do it well; from school assemblies and
corporate events to private dinners and weddings. Our flexibility allows us
to provide entertainment to audiences ranging from over 1500 to a command
performance for former US President Bill Clinton. Wherever we go, we find
that we offer a unique and professional show, tailored to suit the
particular audience and venue. We will be visiting San Francisco, Los
Angeles, San Diego, Las Vegas and Seattle among other places and would
love any more opportunities to perform! If you are interested, please check
out our website at www.ootb.org.uk or send us an email at
ootb@herald.ox.ac.uk. Promotional materials including sound samples and
videos are available on request!
COLLEGIATE GROUPS IN THE MEDIA
"Rock and R.O.," the documentary about USC’s Reverse Osmosis in the ICCA's
in 2004, will be screening at the Delray Beach (FL) Film Festival in March,
and the group is being flown there to perform before the screening. Spread
the word to your Florida family and friends! More information:
