VOTE IN THE A CAPPELLA COMMUNITY AWARDS (ACAs)

"The A Cappella Community Awards recognize the best of the best in a cappella music, dishing out kudos in several categories.  Professional group genres include pop/rock, barbershop, doo-wop, folk/world, religious, classical, jazz and comedy.  Individual awards are also given for best male/female vocalist, vocal percussionist, songwriter and arranger.  This year we have added scholastic awards as well:  male/female/mixed collegiate or high school group.  And for the first time we've got an award for your favorite professional and scholastic albums of 2005!

The ACAs are voted on by the public.  That means the whole public -- you, your mom, your best friend, etc.  Voting is open to anyone astute enough to know about it (and now you know about it, so VOTE!).

Votes can be cast by filling out the online form (click here to reach it:  http://www.casa.org/index.php?option=com_aca&Itemid=144).  Each individual can only vote once, but you're more than welcome to get as many people as you can to vote.  It's our hope that these awards will be a truly accurate representation of what the greater a cappella community is thinking.  You must sign in to vote, so go find your CASA login info or sign up for a free membership to CASA now!

Voting to determine the favorites of 2005 is open from December 3, 2005 until January 8th, 2006, and the winners will be announced on January 15, 2006.  Don't pass up an opportunity to make an impact -- go vote now!
