The Windjammer Barbershop Chorus of Camden, Maine presents their 15th annual Waves of Harmony Annual Show, on Saturday, September 6th at 7:00 p.m. at the Rockport Opera House. This evening of wonderful barbershop music will include the Windjammers, Starboard Watch quartet, Harborside Harmony women’s chorus of Rockland, On the Go comedy quartet from Portland and feature quartet Back Bay Four, 2007 Granite and Pine division champions. Kathy Chamberlain and Granville Ames direct the Windjammers while Ollie Curtis, Martha Johnston-Nash and Carolyn Willey direct Harborside Harmony.
On the Go Quartet and Back Bay Four have entertained audiences at the Windjammers’ show last year and previous years who really know how to bring a smile to a face and sometimes a tear to an eye. These gentlemen really know how to entertain and do it at the very best level that barbershop can provide. Starboard Watch, the Windjammers’ quartet consisting of Granville Ames, Nick Greenwood, Asger Bagge and Larry Singer will also be entertaining the audience with some new pieces this year that are sure to please.
