The Midwest's most in demand vocal group, Tonic Sol-fa, will return to entertain fans at this year's Clay County Fair. The four-member male collaboration, originally from the Twin Cities area, will perform their songs in the Grandstand on Monday, September 8 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Formed over a decade ago, Tonic Sol-fa has created a fresh take on the traditional "barbershop quartet". The group's sound has proven very effective, selling over 1,000,000 albums and touring nationally and internationally for 12 years.
Predominately known for their pop-styled arrangements, Tonic Sol-fa's musical output relies solely on a tambourine and their own voices. The group averages 150 concerts annually, reaching upwards to 250,000 person audiences across 48 states.
