Over 500 people attended Calimesa's second show of its annual series of Concerts on the Green at the Calimesa Country Club. Returning for their fourth year, the doo-wap singers, the Alley Cats, entertained their audience with songs of the 50s and 60s coupled with engaging wit and humor. Their audience participation numbers were especially popular.
The group's founder, Mando Sonseca, couldn't say enough about how talented his group is while they render songs with unmatched harmony performed a cappella. The Alley Cats group, representing 22 members, have entertained throughout the United States since 1987. It all started 21 years ago at Fullerton College in Orange County.
