Page 1 of 2 Westbrook Fun Days will feature unusual sports, professional and amateur musical performances and a variety of edible treats from Thursday to Sunday.
New to the festival this year is a concert by Mankato-based a capella group Home Free. The concert starts at 5:30 p.m. Saturday in the park, and music-lovers are requested to bring their own lawn chairs.
“They performed here in Westbrook at our Lions Club supper, and we had so many people comment on how good they were … we thought well, let’s see if they’ll come out for Fun Days,” said Rachel Christians, a member of the Westbrook Women’s Club, the festival’s organizer.
