Vocal camp scheduled at Tiffin University |

The student center and other buildings on the Tiffin University campus are to echo with music Monday through Thursday as more than 50 students take part in the Heartland Vocal Camp for Jazz and Pop Singers.
“Most of them are from Ohio, but they’re coming from as far away as Virginia, Pennsylvania and New York,” said Brad Rees, head of Tiffin University’s music department.
Rees, Christian Secrist and Julio Appling, also instructors of the music department, are conducting workshops, along with artists-in-residence, the a cappella group, InPulse. New to the camp faculty this year is Deke Sharon, who is traveling from San Francisco.
