Page 1 of 2 The youthful yet strong voices of the HERITAGE Show Choir shouted out with joy Saturday when the 96-member choir was named McDonald's Gospelfest best.
The competition at Prudential Center attracted 11 choirs, one from as far away as Seattle, to perform one song each before the judges at Newark's new event venue.
...."The kids sang a capella in seven-part harmony, and was not only the largest group to do that, we were the only group to do that," Soumas said."
