Ang Lee, the Oscar-winning director of "Brokeback Mountain," received a hero's welcome Saturday at Ebertfest: an onstage serenade of the Illini Loyalty Song.
And not just any serenade, it was performed by the Other Guys, an eight-member a cappella all-male ensemble clad in orange and navy sweaters (the college's colors). (As Ebertfest host Chaz Ebert remarked afterward, "You won't see THAT at the Cannes Film Festival.")
