Students get their voices in gear for musical theater season |

It's the best of times and the worst of times for Valley High School senior Vickie McCallum's voice.
McCallum, 18, and a resident of New Kensington is an ensemble member and principle dancer in her school's production of "Beauty and the Beast" that runs through today. She's also a member of the school's concert choir and its show choir.
High school musical season is a stressful and rewarding time of year as students risk losing their voices just when they need them most.
