There are so many things to tell you about this week. I decided to lead off with breaking news about our Hoosier/Buckeye Barbershop Bash concert on May 10. We have been selling tickets for this show which features four regional choruses: the Summit City Chorus of Fort Wayne, the Lima Beane Chorus, the Northwesternaires of Defiance and the Sound Waves Chorus from Celina.
I am now pleased to announce we have landed the Park Avenue Quartet as an addition to our show. Park Avenue was formed in 2000 and immediately established themselves as the Johnny Appleseed District Champions. They are all members of the Singing Buckeyes from, ahem… of course- Columbus. They are all experienced Barbershoppers who sing well and love to have a good time on stage. I think you will love them as they appear between choruses and on their own slate in the program.
You can purchase tickets for this last bash of the season in the Niswonger Performing Arts Center at the box office, open Monday through Friday 12-4, by calling 419-238-6722, or on-line at www.npacvw.org. All tickets are just $10 each and we are about half way sold out at this point. Good seats are still available and a good time is guaranteed! Show starts at 7:30 p.m.
