Vocal group Cantus shares a cappella fun with audiences |

Page 1 of 3 Composer Richard Strauss called the human voice the most beautiful instrument of all, and the most difficult to play.
That may be so, but what got the nine-member a cappella group Cantus its start was not overcoming challenges, but "guys wanting to have some fun," says founding member and artistic director Erick Lichte.
That was 13 years ago.
Today, the singers continue to share that fun with fans across the country. Greenville audiences will be able to sample Cantus' vocal prowess at the ensemble's one-night only performance on Friday in the Peace Center's Gunter Theatre.
